Microsoft® Most Valuable Professionals
(MVPs) monitor the Microsoft® newsgroups. A Microsoft® MVP is a professional who
voluntarily gives of his or her expertise to enhance the online experience and technical
skills of others. MVPs work closely with Microsoft® Support Engineers. Microsoft®
Support Engineers assist the MVPs as needed and help them in their efforts to contribute
valuable information in the online communities.

How does someone become a MVP?

MVPs work closely together to identify those individuals who are taking the initiative to
assist their peers online.
